The first CSR activity was held on 11th August 2012, a visit to an orphanage home. The selected home is Agathians Shelter. The word Agathians originated from a Latin Greek word, which means Spark of Beginning. The birth o Agathians Shelter is best described to go hand-in hand with the saying “a help in need is a help indeed”.
Agathians Shelter is an orphanage for boys from various backgrounds ranging from the age of 4 to 10 years old. It was founded in December 2003 by a team of young adults. It was set up to save a group of children from being put out to the streets and to provide a home for them.
Intercosmetic’s CSR program with them included a day of games with prizes, lunch catering, monetary donations, providing required items for their facility as such fridge, washing machine, rice cooker, ceiling fan, ironing board, new doors, new paint and many more.
