Logistics Executive

As a Logistics Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing the seamless flow of materials and products within our manufacturing and distribution operations, covering both importing and exporting goods, local deliveries, and coordinating shipments. Your expertise in logistics and supply chain management will be instrumental in driving our company’s ongoing success.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the entire logistics spectrum, from importing and exporting goods to local deliveries, using our cutting-edge ERP system.
  • Obtain and analyse quotations from forwarders for freight comparison before proceeding with shipments.
  • Maintain close collaboration with freight forwarders and local transporters to ensure shipments arrive promptly.
  • Effectively negotiate for air/sea freight and local transport charges.
  • Take charge of managing claims arising from losses or damages.
  • Scrutinise and verify the accuracy of shipping documents, ensuring seamless processes.
  • Ensure the validity of notifications and meticulously arrange incoming shipments.
  • Expertly manage the correct declaration of import shipments under tariff codes.
  • Work closely to ensure all necessary documentation for customs clearance is prepared before vessel arrival.
  • Responsible for submitting SST tax exemptions if required.
  • Handle the entire process of Purchase Orders, Customer Orders, Picking Lists, and Invoices.
  • Keep inventory records up-to-date and prepare monthly reports for insightful analysis.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least Diploma / Bachelor Degree in Logistic Management or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year related working experience in Logistic / Shipping
  • Good interpersonal, communication, negotiation and reporting skills.
  • Well versed in Bahasa Malaysia and English both speaking and writing.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Applicant must be willing to work in Kota Damansara.
